1. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR DOMESTIC / COMMERCIAL CARPET CLEANING
1.1. It is your responsibility to ensure the services detailed and the areas covered are those required by you.
1.2. It is your responsibility to clear all furniture and office equipment beforehand, where possible, in order to
facilitate cleaning and to prevent damage done to items on the premises, all fragile and breakable
items must be secured or removed. If required, 4 Seasons Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Ltd. can move
furniture. However, if in the opinion of our employee there is too much furniture or it is too heavy for
one person to move, we reserve the right to add additional charges, take additional time to complete the job if
required or refuse the job at our discretion.
1. 3. Quotations are valid for a minimum period of 3 months and a maximum of 12 months. This is dependent upon
the condition of the items remaining in the same condition as first quoted. Please check your
written quotation for the exact specified validation period. We ask you to provide accurate details regarding
the area to be cleaned, e.g. size of rooms, number of seats, overall condition, any particular
staining. Failure to do so or inaccurate information may incur additional costs. Estimates and quotations are
offered on a charge per clean rather than per hour in order to complete any work required in a
Professional and timely manner.
1.4. Any estimation of time to complete work is based upon the average time taken to clean a property of a similar
size. We reserve the right to overrun any given time scale in order to offer a professional clean.
Please note we shall not be held liable for work not completed, or not completed to a good standard if our
technician is hindered in any way by people in the property when our employees are working.
1.5. 4 Seasons Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Ltd reserve the right to amend any quotation, should your original
requirements change.
1.6. You must provide access to power and water free of charge. All employees are instructed not to use office
telephone lines without prior consent. Our employees will not read or divulge any data left out on the client’s
premises. We will always respect your privacy.
1.7. Please note we may require a deposit on large commercial jobs prior to work commencing.
1. 8. 4 Seasons Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Ltd. will supply all cleaning materials and high-powered professional
equipment required for the job. If keys are provided they must open the lock at the property /
premises without any special efforts or skills.
1.9. We will follow the client’s security procedures, e.g. checking all windows and doors and activating the security
alarm on the building before leaving the premises, providing you give the relevant codes etc.
2.0. In the event of the cleaning being prevented by the customer and / or its employee’s or agents including a
trade dispute, it shall be considered as performed and the charge for the said cleaning shall be
payable as compensation for time lost and wages paid. This shall include any period where the customer has
extended the closure of its premises in addition to any statutory holidays (e.g. over the Christmas period).
2.1. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is payable upon completion of services or goods supplied. 4
Seasons Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Ltd. accept the following payment methods: Cash, Cheque
or bank transfer. Bank Details can be provided upon request. In the event of late payment, 4 Seasons Carpet
and Upholstery Cleaning Ltd. will instigate legal proceedings or we may instruct a debt collection
agency to collect any outstanding money owed to us. If as a result we have to use a debt-collecting agency or
County Court to secure payment, you agree to pay any debt collecting agency fees, court fees,
legal cost or interest that will occur (at a rate of 8% above bank base rate per annum, due to the result of non-
payment of your outstanding bill. In addition, an administration charge of £50.00 will also apply.
2.2. All staining will be individually treated to the best advantage. However, depending upon circumstances and
cause, 4 Seasons Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Ltd. cannot guarantee that all staining will be removed.
2.3 All services supplied shall be subject to a minimum charge of £50.00.
2.4 After cleaning, it is the responsibility of clients to allow enough time for drying prior to use.
3. CANCELLATIONS
3.1. You may cancel a carpet or upholstery-cleaning visit by giving 4 Seasons Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Ltd. at
least 48 hours advanced notice. If an emergency situation occurs and leads to cancellation, a
future time to complete the work must be rearranged and booked.
3.2 You agree to pay 20% of the quote as a cancellation fee in the event of our employee being turned away; no
one home to let them in; no power or water available at your premises; or a problem with your door entry
keys to gain access to the property or premises.
4.0 CUSTOMER SATISFACTION & MONEY BACK GUARANTEE
4.1.a If you are not completely satisfied with a carpet or upholstery-cleaning job, 4 Seasons Carpet & Upholstery
Cleaning Ltd. will return and examine the problematic area. We reserve the right to offer to re-clean
that area to your satisfaction or to give your money back. In the event of you wanting another cleaner to be
employed, 4 Seasons Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Ltd. reserve the right to enforce payment until
you allow us to see the result achieved by another carpet cleaner of the complete removal of dirt and or stains
to our satisfaction.
4.1.b. You must be present at all times during the recovery-clean. 4 Seasons Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Ltd.
reserve the right not to return a cleaner more than once.
4.1. c. 4 Seasons Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Ltd. require your presence or that of your representative at the
beginning and at the end of the cleaning session for an inspection to be carried out and if any
corrections are required, these can be made on the same day.
4.1.d. In case of a complaint, we ask you to notify 4 Seasons Carpet & Upholstery Cleaners within 24 hours of
completion of the work being carried out. 4 Seasons Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Ltd. will not
consider any complaints that are notified after a period of 24 hours has lapsed. If you are not satisfied with the
work, the operator must be allowed to return and re-do the job at no extra charge.
4.1.e. If you have scheduled an inventory check then it must be scheduled to commence on the same day as the
cleaning job. We will not accept a complaint based on an Inventory check made outside of this period.
5.0. IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
5.1. 4 Seasons Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Ltd. cannot be held responsible for: Wear, sun damage or
discolouring of fabric becoming more visible once dirt has been removed, existing damage or spillage
that cannot be cleaned / removed completely by the cleaner using standard carpet cleaning materials, old
stains that cannot be removed using normal cleaning methods especially if the staining has been
self-treated by the customer or other party not associated with 4 Seasons Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Ltd.
triggering any alarm systems. Customers should provide instructions for deactivation / activation
of any alarm systems, accidental damage for goods that have not been secured or removed from the working
environment, any third party entering or present at the customer’s property during the cleaning.
6.0. INSURANCE.
6.1. 4 Seasons Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Ltd. has public and employer’s liability insurance, covering up to £5
million. The policy will cover major accidents and treatment risks. Breakage / damage, or theft, must be
reported within 24 hours from our service date. Any claims reported later than 24 hours after the clean will
not be considered.
7.0. CONFIDENTIALLITY
4 Seasons Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Ltd. reserve the right to refuse to share any of its confidential
company’s documents.
8.0. OWNERSHIP OF RIGHTS
8.1. All rights, including copyright, on our website are owned by 4 Seasons Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Ltd. Any
use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other
than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without the written permission of 4 Seasons
Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Ltd.
9.0. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & ACCEPTANCE
9.1. Upon acceptance of our quotation and instruction to commence work, you agree to be bound by our terms
and conditions. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the relevant UK law. 4Seasons
Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Ltd.reserve the right to make any changes to any part of these terms and

10.0. 4Seasons Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Ltd. is committed to protecting your privacy. The confidentiality of
any information that you provide us with is extremely important to us. We will ensure that all
reasonable steps will be taken to comply with all relevant UK legislation except where you voluntarily choose
to give up your rights.
